Breaking Point

Tejano/Latino Music

/Tejano/ Band/ Calendar/ Photos/ E-mail/ Audio
Our mission is to promote the Tejano sound in Arizona. Allot of music and musicians have been influenced by Tejano artists, such as Steve Jordan, Sonny Osuna, Little Joe Y La Familia to name a few over the decades, and consequently have strong ties to this music. The style has evolved in the Texas area, and these Arizona musicians are here to keep the sound alive ! The purpose of this site is to promote this music that we love and just have fun playing! The unique Tejano sound draws from several styles of music not just the Mexican conjunto sound, but also from R&B, Jazz, and Country. "Breaking Point" brings you a true "Tejano Connection" featuring song writer George Avena, who has written Tejano Music Award (TMA) winning songs, some recorded at Blue Cat Studios.
